Metabolism Booster Smoothie

This is an energy-rich and nutritious start to the day (and a great way to sneak in an extra serve of veggies!). If you’re not into sharing, the second serve will keep overnight in the fridge.

Ingredients

1/4 bunch kale, leaves stripped

1 cups coconut water (depending on how thick you like your smoothies)

2 tsp coconut oil

1/2 banana, roughly chopped

1/4 cup pineapple, fresh or frozen

1/4 cup mango, chopped (fresh or frozen)

1 tbs quinoa flakes

Method

1 Put kale, coconut water and coconut oil in your blender and whizz until smooth.

2 Add remaining fruit and continue to blend until thick and smooth.
